STEP 1: Discovery Call

Book a Discovery Call with our Principal Interior Designer, Morgan Tate. During this 15 to 20-minute call, we’ll talk about your project, suggest design services that fit your needs and budget, explain our design process, and answer your questions. STEP 2: Consultation

$300 for 90 minutes

Every project begins with a consultation, whether in-person or virtual. The Design Consultation is essential as it allows me to see your home and the areas involved in your project. This is also a chance to explain our design process and make sure it's suitable for you. The consultation lasts 90 minutes, where we will go over the project, discuss key areas, and provide helpful tips. Before the meeting, we will review any inspiration or project details you've shared to make the most of our time together.

STEP 3: Proposal + Contract

After the consultation, I will estimate my time to design a space for you based on the size of your project. You will receive a proposal outlining the scope of work, my estimated hours and estimated timeline. Once the proposal is approved and the design fee is paid, I will get busy designing!

If necessary, I will schedule a meeting called “Trades Day” to have subcontractors come out to get a clear scope of work in order to bid the job for you.

STEP 4: design

This is where the magic happens! I will get busy creating the design of your dreams, which could take up to 8 weeks. Fabrics are sourced, lighting is selected, floor plans are drafted, design boards created and many, many quotes are gathered. The initial concepts we discussed with you at the consultation are starting to take shape and develop into a full design plan.

sTEP 5: presentation

This is an exciting day! We meet in person and I present the full design to you. This includes all floor plans, elevations, color scheme, digital presentation boards, fabric and wallpaper samples, other finish material samples, furniture selections and budget breakdown. I will collect a 100% deposit of all goods once you have approved them and everyone is super excited about the one of a kind design made specifically for you.

sTEP 6: project management

We simplify your life by handling your orders for you. We buy all items and set an installation date. Custom and full-service orders can take 6-9 months from order to installation. We track all orders, store them in our warehouse, and prepare everything for installation.

sTEP 7: installation

Today is the big day you've been waiting for! Remember all those wonderful designs you chose? The MTI team is here to bring your vision to life. If possible, please be away from home during the installation to keep the surprise! Your only task is to return home and celebrate when you see the finished spaces and beautiful details.

Virtual Design

Sometimes you feel confident beginning a project but need some guidance to realize your vision. Our virtual package is ideal for hands-on individuals. Whether you are nearby or far away, we will take the time to understand your ideas for your space. We will provide a floor plan, layout, color scheme, and shopping list—everything you need to make your room look great.

New construction & Renovation selections

Renovating or building can often feel overwhelming due to the countless choices and decisions involved in the process. Whether you are considering tackling a kitchen or bathroom renovation or building your dream home; Morgan can provide valuable assistance. MTI will work closely with you to create the ideal design plan tailored specifically for your renovation or new construction project, ensuring that your vision becomes a beautiful reality.
